Sign Production Team Member & Installer

Job Description:

As member of the Signage Department you will assist to produce sign products of all types. You will be required to have the knowledge and ability to operate printers, laminators, and vinyl cutters to create decals, banners, and signage applied to various substrates. Attention to detail is required in this position, as you will trim, finish and install jobs according to the standards set out by work order specifications. Proper knowledge and use of all tools are a necessity in this position. Additionally, sign production staff must keep their work area clean, organized, and efficient throughout the day. Monitor materials and supplies on hand and notify the supervisor when materials are running low. You are expected to complete jobs with quality and by set deadlines.

 

Tasks:

Knowledgeable of all tools, substrates, and medias. Working with vinyl, cutting, weeding, taping, trimming. Apply vinyl on sign substrates.
Hem, grommet and finish banners.

Stretch canvas on frames.
Install vinyl graphics on walls, vehicles, signs, windows and other surfaces. Run printers, changing media, sending files to print as needed.
Keep workspace clean, organized and efficient.
Work well as a team with good communication.
Help where needed in any production area.
Assist where or whenever needed.
